By carrying out the strategy of talent recruitment, NCEPU has achieved great success in the construction of a talented team of teaching staff. Primarily, the age structure, educational background structure and academic degree structure of the teaching staff have been improved. 70% of the teachers recruited in recent years come from the universities listed in the “211 Project” and “985 Project,” Chinese Academy of Sciences, and foreign universities. In addition, the chair professor system draws many outstanding talents to the university.
