Terry A. Ring, Professor and Ph.D. supervisor of Chemical Engineering and adjunct Professor in the department of Materials Science and Engineering at the University of Utah.

【主讲人简介】

Dr. Ring's research includes colloidal particle processing, precipitation, crystallization inhibition, thin film sensors and ceramics processing. He was a member of a DOE/OIT team that produced a CFD model of crystallization systems. He has published one book on Ceramic Powder Processing, >165 articles on particle processing and has 4 patents and 8 patent applications. His recent work is on high-speed imaging, image analysis and laser diagnostics of flames and optical analysis of soot and ash particles produced in flames as well as their deposits.

【内容简介】

在中等或剧烈的低氧燃烧(MILD)中,充分混合的反应物需要有一个体积反应场。理 想搅拌反应器(PSR)模型是研究在 MILD 条件下热化学特性的理想模型。然而,在煤 粉燃烧过程中,很难实现颗粒周围反应物的充分混合。本报告根据传统气体燃料 MILD 燃烧的要求,利用 PSR 模型清楚地确定以分布式点源形式输送的燃料可能发生 MILD 燃烧的条件。另外, 实现 MILD 燃烧还要求一个尺度小于颗粒直径的混合长度以及一个 统一的或更小的 DAMKOHER 数。除此以外, 本报告还对 MILD 燃烧中碳烟的生成过程 进行讨论。
